Real Time Swing Audition. How do you do on Live Standalone?

I know how to do this in the software, but I would like the functionality in the Live Standalone.
Does anybody know how to do this?

Yeah, the way I do it is go into Grid view, select notes you wish to apply swing to (press appropriate pad(s)), Hold shift & TC will appear in the lower left tab. Press that & the Timing Correct window pops up. Touch the swing amount window, & dial in the amount of swing you require, then press do it. Swing applied.
Press undo if it's not right & repeat as necessary.
Or you could just select the notes & nudge them, applying the swing that way (depending on which grid time division setting you have, or just turn the grid off, select the notes, hold shift & turn the jog wheel, the increments are more precise that way..)
Depends on your workflow really.

Thank you for the reply, Maschinehead! Kinda tedious compared to the software unfortunately. I started doing what you suggested, but I don't see or hear any changes when I adjust swing amount and select do it. The notes are not moving ;(

realtime swing from the q links is easy and worx .....the qlinks -----(screen mode) press and hold the q link button(top right corner) and you can see swing and shift turn the dial and listen to your real time swing

My expectations of this feature are obviously a lot higher than other people's. The current implementation is total shite. I don't know how anyone can get excited about it.

For starters, you can only 'audition' from the q links, so even though you have the exact same screen displayed, using the touchscreen has no affect. This is bullshit. Secondly, the whole process is destructive of the original performance, so you're not actually auditioning anything. You're just layering TC on top of TC adjustments within the TC screen without having to press Do It, which you then have to mash the Undo button to get back to the original. The whole thing is half baked.

At the very least I'd like to see a genuine TC audition (like the 4K) where you can non-destructively hear the effect before you hit Do It. Ideally, I still think a fully realtime non-destructive TC is the way Akai need to go. The current implementation is nowhere near that.

Is this the Legendary Cosign of Louis Den beat battles fame with Kelz, Jaisu, S-Type and all dem. I know I fogot so many other dope beat makers as well. I use to enter your joints when I was making beats on the MV8800. Infants compared to the likes of Kelz adult olymipic atheletes lol. . This is my 1st standalone MPC. I think the LIVE is dope so far, but as you stated, I'm sure my expectations are way lower to someone who knows these machines inside and out like yourself. I really appreciate the information. Wow!
