Using a usb stick interfering with mpc x

Hi im using usb stick on the back of my mpc X, when i want to go controller mode mpc x will stay in looking for computer pink screen, BUT if i remove the usb stick from the back of the mpc X and wanna go controller mode it connects to mac. Have you guys tried a usb stick and tried going controller mode? Let me know

Yes l have and no problems here. Try to put the stick in your Mac and see what happens.

I actully dont know whats happening with usb ports but now they work somedays they dont but as for now they are working

This happens with the Live too.
Have a usb drive in the Live and crashes when put into controller mode. Doesn't happen every time but enough that I can't use the usb drive
Having a ton of problems in controller mode since the last update.....

I think it must have something to do with driver's maybe, i phoned akai in uk about it but they have no knowledge of there products
