MPC X and Midi - Note Sustain won't turn off

Hi there;

I'm having trouble with my Midi and MPC X . I've got an 88 KEY MIDI controller plugged into the MPC and 2 modules being controlled by MIDI out - 1 is a FANTOM X and the other my MicroKORG.

Both have MIDI SUSTAIN problems - meaning that the note won't turn off when i release the key - it just keeps on going.

I don't have this problem on my cubase or on the Maschine Studio, only on the MPC X.


Does anyone else have this problem? Is there something I'm missing? Usually you just plug it in and its supposed to work but maybe theres some setting I'm not aware of on the MPC

you need a sustain pedal with a invert switch

Sounds like a midi loop, try setting your keyboards to local off
