MIDI Learn coming in 2.2 update?

The MPC X doesn't send out MMC or midi clock when in 2.1 controller mode. (even though it gives you the option to in the software preferences. . . (epic fail that will be addressed in 2.2 Akai told me).
It sends out MMC and midi data from all 4 ports if set in preferences in standalone only.

WHEN I PRESS PLAY , I EXPECT MY DEVICES TO START !!!!!!
THEY DO IN STANDALONE !
WHY GIVE THE OPTION IN THE SETTINGS PAGE IF THIS FUNCTION DOESNT EVEN WORK !
forget silly wifi features and midi mapping , if i want a midi controller i will buy one . I WANT AN MPC . MIDI PRODUCTION CENTER , not a midi controller.
oh and i want crossfade on samples like the MPC 4000 . Why on earth have we lost this feature , ?

The MPC software doesn't yet have a midi in function that allows it to be trigger by other hardware devices?

That was months ago! I think? I stayed in it to see what 2.1 would bring. I think that update went a along way to making me believe in Akai's road map for the machine. Look there are still things that annoy me but I friggin LOVE the thing. I sold off mad gear since I got it. I still need to get a 1k again for my drum rig though. I could not gig with the live... it just doesnt feel like it could handle the wear and tear.

Im not the biggest fan of the form factor and ergonomics but the workflow is STILL dope. There I said it!
If 2.2 brings some more of the things I want like I think it will, I know I will keep it... Gonna take a serious stand alone piece to make me change up now

Does anyone slave their DAW to the latest update of Live? I had this working a while back, but now Live only starts up the connected drum machines, not Bitwig. Ableton Sync, clock, MTC options = nada.

Still no release date?

They need to fix this.

All I can find is 2.1 here in The Netherlands...
