Anyone knows if Akai will announce anything related to MPC Live/X at Superbooth 2018?

Dan is already inviting members at gearslutz to Superbooth. Something new will be shown...maybe OS 2.5

Software. And nope, no-one's said that.
Dan and Geoff said it's coming but that it'll take a while and some work (can't remember the exact wording…Dan responded on GS, Geoff via Twitter).
Will that ever happen? Remains to be seen. I could guess it's no small feat making it happen on an existing software.

Ok cool. That would be great. We'll see if it will ever be implemented.

I wonder if there are more people that use the standalone more than the software.

ACL was MVP company of Superbooth 2018 for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nKDNv2I_uE Monster Sound!!!
Also spoke with Ross Davies from AKAI and when i mentioned Disk Streaming & Multi-Timbral Midi he’s answer was “If i had a dollar every time i heard about these features i’d be rich so ye i can confirm they’re coming but it’s a very difficult task that’s why we can’t give any time frame...”
So things are looking good!

If you're gonna get Reason, do it before May 30th so you can get the Drum Sequencer rack extension for free. The sequencer is dope, and so is the sample loading in Europa.
