recording sustain pedal occurrences (midi)

I just noticed that the MPC doesn't seem to record my external synths' sustain pedal occurrences when creating a midi track. Not sure if it was like this before the update, but is there a setting that addresses what is recorded via midi?

This happens to both synths btw so I assume it’s the mpc’s side of thing that need to be adjusted
