Anyone using the E-RM Multiclock?

ABOUT
It's a multi-format solution for audio synchronisation. It takes it's Internal Clock or DAW's audio clock an derives an clock from it. The clock is emitted at the four outputs, which can be separately shifted and shuffle Each channel can generate MIDI Clock, DIN-Sync, an analog clock and an analog LFO as well.

I don’t use one now, but if I acquire any older machines with slower processors that lag next to newer processors like old pre- midi devices that have been converted, I would buy one of these. The ability to offset the newer to match the speed of older is great for syncing tracks

How well does this clock work in comparison to the Cirklon or an MPC 60/3000 ?

It’s big benefit seems to me to be able to use its offset feature to sync devices besides having rock solid timing. Like pdc but for hardware

You can push it with the 60/3000/4000 and then adjust each individual midi channel's shuffle and shift the timing on the fly. Read that someone used a midi out split and and used two of them to push 8 different midi pieces.

I use in my setup its little brother, the ERM Midiclock+ as a central master clock and I´m very happy with it!
BUT: one important aspect you need to consider: once you clock-slave your MPC Live Audio-recording and the Looper will not work. This is a big pain in the butt but Akai has already stated that they will not correct this as this is according to them a "feature per design" .

That's may be a nice way of saying, the machine is under-powered. Yes, I was looking at the ERM MidiClock as well.

Sorry to bring up an older thread, but I've been searching the forums after discovering the E-RM stuff looking for some info...

Does using the MPC still function the same with it's operation using it to control external hardware with the Midiclock+? Does it simply act as the main clock, while the MPC is still the "master controller" per se? Or do you just push play on the Midiclock+ and just use the Overdub button to record data on tracks, instead of doing the usual hold REC + PLAY START? I'm still wrapping my head around it a bit, been tough trying to find examples lol

I can see with the Multiclock, it has the input to accept whatever outside clock source, while the Midiclock+ seems to just be the master clock no matter what, so I was very curious to how it all works. Multiclock seems to be out of stock everywhere right now (grrr), any info any has on the setup would definitely be appreciated!
