What's the fastest way to reset a pad in a drum program?

I've switched over from Maschine an all I had to do was hold shift + erase and then hit multiple pads to reset them (remove sample) in an instant.

In the MPC software, the only way I'm aware of is to go into program edit and remove the sample from the layer? Is this really the fastest way to do this? If so, I hope they just flat out copy Maschine as they've nailed how intuitive it should be.

I hope I'm wrong on this and am missing something. Can't find any info on this in the manual.

It's there in stand alone, is the option not there on the hardware when tethered?
