Akai should hire you for preset patterns. :P

Nice melody you created there, I definitely would like to hear the final processed mix. I was thinking the kicks needed to be kicked harder. Everything else is fine.

I wouldn't say the sounds are wack but I wouldn't use them either. You know, the whole "everyone got a Live got these sounds" ego I got. :D

Thanks. Preset drum patterns l could do and quickly.
Its so freakin easy l tell you.

I have a different mind set. We may have the same sounds but l will never sound like the next producer, respectively.

I would love to hear from others using the internal sounds. That would be cool

No doubt, I have flipped a few of those sounds myself. I never saved them but helps understand the machine even deeper when I put my own samples in.

Ooohhh man listen putting your own samples in it is a breeze. You can just go. When l get some more time lma do another BoomBap with a sample. I found this sweet sample. Its probably going to be RnBish. Editing samples have never been so easy.

The intro to your vid had me thinking you joined the dark side.

I actually just used that kit the other night when I took the live to an open mic. If I can squeeze it in I’ll try to do this weeks beat battle with it.
Got until midnight I think.

Thanks so much for doing that vid Brother! It's probably the most informative vid out there on using the Live.

Would love to see more vids with stock sounds. I know there is a debate out there about the sound quality.

I am in a bind. I don't know if I should buy a Live or get a Mackbook Pro and put all of my VSTI's on it from my home studio. I need a mobile creative machine.

Peace....

Watup bro!

Im in my stu right now about to cook up another vid with the stock sounds from the live. Put it like this l'd rather use the stock sounds from the live than from Reason, hands down. And lm only talking about the drums from Reason.

Hey if your budget allows get the Mac And MPC live. You will have a complete mobile stu. I have a PC laptop Dell and l make my vids connecting the MPC live to it. Macs are expensive , you can have a PC for about $200 bucks Dell and rock with your vsts.
So l basically have 2 stus, one stable and the mobile one. :smoker:
