Padmute Not Available For Keygroup Program

Hey Guys,

I tried Googling the subject. but found no workarounds.

What I'm trying to do is make a breakdown for my Trap track. I want to create a sequence to make a breakdown in the middle of the track. So, what I did was copy sequence 1 which had the whole drum kit playing plus an Analog Bell melody. I wanted to mute the pads to have just the hats and bell going on, then building the track back up. I got the error that padmute is not available for a key group program.

Any solutions?

Found the answer to my own question.

I saw an Akai video that showed erase events during a sequence .

You can also just mute or delete the tracks if it’s copied.

Are you talking about deleting midi off of the grid? Sure thing.
