MPC Live/X Note Repeat Malfunction

It appears that the Note Repeat button is somehow latching itself or assigning itself to the pad. The same glitch was in the MPC Touch as well.

I have the reverse issue: I have an external midi keyboard that tiggers pads when I press Note Repeat on the MPC and press any key on the keyboard. Note that I've turned off 'Track' for this keyboard in the MPC Midi settings
