Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

hello everybody,

i got a problem so if someone can help me, that would be fantastic

so i am trying to records tracks with my sampler (Juno-D)

so I plug everything

i have a beat on a sequence on the mpc and I am recording a piona using my Synthetiser

it worked, i got a piano sound record recorded

NOW, if I want to record a new track using another sound of the Synthetiser: it looks like it doesnt work, or should I say: i dont know how to do it

so, if i change the sound of my synthetiser for a bassline, i still have the same notes but played by another instrument

So is it possible to do the following:
keep the piona sound from a synthetiser( on a track of the mpc)
record another sound from the same synthetiser( on a different track of the mpc) ??????????????????????????????????????????????

is the MPC able to record the sound from synthetiser? i guess it can only record a Midi information

is that problem liked to the synthetiser???

how shall i do???? am i explaining correctly???

any help will be much appreciated
thanxs
happy new year
Peace

read up the juno manual. it might have a mutli mode. where 16 multi timbral chans can be accessed.
