Hi at all,
I have a problem with updating my brandnew MPC X, which received yesterday. I love it so much, but:
It is not possible to update it with a USB stick (dongle). I tried it a lot of times with 3 different USB sticks but without a result. Even when I turn to Update Mode - I got a Message „ ~you have to download a Updatefile first”. If I ignore this message and still go to updatemode it happens nothing. The display still shows the updatemode. What can I do ? I only have Win7 not 10. Is this the problem ? But I think via USB Thumb this will not matter.

I tried the update via PC too. But the installer says (after pressing the update button) “Update error - ...”
I have no drivers found in the Internet. Yes, we have to register the Unit, but if the Unit is broken, I like to give it back to my dealer. But when the Unit is registered, maybe I get problems with the dealer.

Wht can I do to Update this wonderful MPC X ?

Can anyone help me please?

Thank you so much !

Hi Andy

Hopefully, this question has already been solved for you by support. It's possible your unit is running a firmware version (before 2.1) that is before when we added the USB update option if this is the case, sorry your first update will need to be via PC or Mac.

Thank you for feedback.
I have registered my MPC X und updated with WIN 7 64 Bit. So the Update was no Problem.

But now it takes 5 minutes to boot if there is an SD-Card in it. USB -Stick is no Problem. Only with SD-Card it takes a long time to boot.

But I love this wonderful MPC X !!! I will Keep it :-)
