So here it is that coupon really works.
I went to Plugin Discounts and the CLA Vocals is $24.36. I put the code "YNY23" in and it csme out to $22.41. CRAZY!
If you're using the Akai software and you're doing vocals you can kill it with this. Waves have a sell for this $29 so l came out way cheaper.

I ain't never going back to hardware lol

Which one you're talking about? I have looked at so many SSL channels my head is spinning lol
DaSpacestation wrote:That Ssl native drum channel plugin is nice. Not the waves version. It has a nice low end enhance thats magic on just about every drum sample. And the gate is dope.

I have a numark M6 usb mixer on it's way. Ive always just recorded in from turntable to my mpc2500. I cant believe how much better the sound quality is running oyur turntable through the mixer then recording in. I cant believe it's taken me this long to finally quit being a cheap **** and getting one.

Perhaps the root of your issue was that you did not have a proper preamp? I used an old early 80's Sansui stereo receiver as a preamp for my turntable and was able to get full sound without hassles. Granted, I had a decent cartridge and needle too. You'd be surprised at how cheap you can be while keeping the quality of your recordings quite high. For texture, consider recording your vinyl in at 45 and pitching down on the sampler too.

Look into the The Radial J33, If you are sampling off a turntable with no mixer.
