Used this to get back a kick l couldn't find. Tweaking wasn't bad at all either. The Waves SSL 4000 E channel is crazy powerful.

That's dope. All I needed was the Regroover, I am probably going to get the full blown version, but at the time I don't need it. But it does come in handy when I need to extract a kick or snare from a loop to be nice and clean to get single hits.

Yeah i used to have the 'culture vulture ' analog distortion unit and had it processing everything that went into the soundcard.Its similar in ways to the analog heat.Creates harmonics and grit that's hard to get in software/digtal.I miss that beast.Problem is you dont want to record anything without it

I have the mk1
I parallel process all my drum busses through that and a dbx 1066. Gives it a really squashed sound I really like.

I also use it to double a lot of pads, to thicken them up.

It’s probably great on basses to, but most of my bass stuff is from a bass guitar these days so I don’t really use it for that.

Long story short, get the heat, it’s great!

Back on topic, there’s a guitar pedal I still really want.



And a second Apollo to chain with mine, for more ins and outs and extra dsp.

And a new Faderport would be sweet too.
