Loading renaissance projects on the MPC X

Peace!

I´ve recently upgraded from an MPC Ren to a X. I´ve put all my old projects on a USC stick. I don´t have any problems loading them but with some projects where I´ve used plugins on the ren the X doesn´t recognize them/can´t load them up.. so I wonder is there a way to solve this problem? Any thoughts? Thanks in adcance!

The plugin should just become inactive. I have a few tracks using waves fx in them and it just bypasses the effect but it doesn’t crash.

Nah, I mean sometimes I´ve used the bank plugins for recording baselines and stuff.. the X doesn´t load up the tracks I´ve made with the bank on the ren.. just want to know if there´s a way I can solve this somehow.

Oh my bad. You would have to bounce the plugin to an audio sample or audio track. That bounced track would play in place of the plugin track on the Live/X.



There is no plug in capability on the Live/X, Akai missed an opportunity IMO. They should have made Instrument Programs out of their Plugin in patches. MPC-Tutor does have an article on this on his site.

Thanks! Yeah it´s a shame akai didn´t include that funktion.. So do I need my mpc ren to bounce the plugin into an audio track on the X? sorry if it sounds amateurish I just don´t really get it..

Yes the track will load on your pc without the the ren attached.

You have to go through the pain staking process of doing this for all your songs.

Oh OK.. luckily I didn´t use those plugins that much. I have something like 400 beats on the USB and I used them only on 10 or 15 beats..
