I can't seem to hear any audio. When I hit the play button it opens a window to select a sample. If I open a program, should the pads play the sample? Am I just not getting it? Otherwise a very nice looking program... good work.

There's a quirk in the Play button, yeah, just reselect the sample assigned to the pad - not serious. The pads on screen are for selecting, they're not emulating the MPC functions (tuning, filtering). Just you try programming that under Windows! 8)

If you have a sample assigned to a pad that you haven't assigned through BlueBox, the program prompts you for the location on your computer so it can find it for playing later. It will remember that location for that sample filename from now on.

You can also 'play' the pads by holding down CTRL when clicking the pad select buttons.

Cool - I should have read the README more closely, eh?

Good job Wax. I just finished downloading it and am looking around. I didn't make a program yet but I bet everything would be fine. yes, the GUI is still a little choppy. but nothing major. hopefully, you will have updates for this. I applaud you.

For those that are having trouble with choppy or blurred scrolling inside BlueBox, try updating your video drivers. This may reduce or fix the problem. I will also definitely keep this issue on the table and continually work towards getting it resolved.

Thanks :)

MIDI note configuration is available through the 'Note Parameters' panel in BlueBox. I also believe that I included every editable parameter in the PGM file to be edited in the application. What specifically do you mean by 'global settings'? It may already be in the program somewhere and you haven't run across it, or I've given it another name.

Give me more info and I'll be happy to clarify.

Is there a way the the pgm and individual samples be saved together? I had to copy/paste the samples to my MPC so that the pgm loaded up properly. I hope I'm not saving it the wrong way!

You're not doing anything wrong. The app saves the PGM file only. However, I will consider the idea of a 'Save All...' feature that would save the PGM file and all associated samples to one location (ideal for saving the PGM and samples to the CompactFlash card in one step).
