Dude said removable flesh lights what in the hell !!!

I do agree Roger Linn really does need danoc to help him make this new product.

15 terabytes of ram, 666,000 ghz, 420 core processor, the ability to make your own vst, porno streaming, even connects to the new doorbells with camera when you busy in the Stu, makes the music for you and also gives a “happy ending” at the end of the session. Even comes with custom fronts from Paul wall.

Linn drum LIVE. Followed up with Linn drum x with the extra 2 outputs and removable flesh light.

Haha I’m **** up in the head.

I know right! Who would buy the one where the flesh light isn’t removable.

 you're wild lol

Linn may be smarter but that don't mean his new so call machine would be to my liking. No touch scteen? Then he isn't really moving to the future.

I don't like that tempest. It doesn't have a screen to see nothing. I don't like its setup blah blah blah.

And you know what l won't wait on dude to do this. Ima look into this myself. Thats thing l hate we depend on someone else to make US something. Linn is not going to build a machine for us.
Hell l'm talking aluminum none rusting casing, a dope cooling system the works.

Big machine 12 inch tilt touch screen. Smaller machine 9.4 permanent tilt touch screen.
Both machines run off batteries. I will blow them the hell out.

I think whatever he does with his mpe controller and the new sampling will be dope. As far all the bells and whistles, these guys make solid high end equipment. I doubt it will be anything like the live/x. Something more along the line of the newer pioneers, Dave smith type stuff.

I mean look what the Linn drum 1 did for music production as a whole, the man is way smarter now, look at his new project to just about the be on the same level. Put the game on its head. Probably not a touch screen, vintage emulations, etc.

The machine I probably wouldn’t end up buying but the mpe controllers are the way of the future, much like the mpc was when they first dropped.

I’m just trying to say roger isn’t going to bring a product to market that fits the same demographics as the MPC Live or x. Some over lap maybe but trust it will be high end and cutting edge.

I more than likely won’t have any interest in getting one but I find this new tech to be really interesting.

Danoc wrote:These day especially when you're talking plugins you put 16Gig ram then let them expand to 128Gig ram. These plugins pull so you need the minimum ram to be 16. CPU buss speed that clock at least 4.00Ghz.

Plus DVD/CD disk recorder and player. So you can mix and master and burn to disk.
Whatever the minimum folks would except for RAM. Instrument/cpu manufacturers charge more for RAM than the after market, so I'd personally be willing to add more for cheaper. They could do it like Apple, offer several levels themselves, 8-128, and allow for after market upgrades as well.

Yeah, speed needs to be on point.

But the DVD/CD recorder is getting into what I wouldn't want to pay for. That would be a good flagship feature, especially since folks don't rock with CDs/DVDs too tough any more.

Danoc wrote:Hell no! ABSOLUTELY NO DONGLES! You don't need it. That MPC will be a big arse dongle it self. You would half to connect to the internet with the machine.

Bezo wrote:
I'm guessing something similar to an iLok for authorizing plugs. I can see this being the major hurdle.

Add VCA tracks to track types for more mixing options. And throw in support/pre-mapping for those and a few other low/mid level mix controllers.

I was going to say save on the drive as most would upgrade any way, but can't ship with a small spinning drive with plugin support and all that RAM.
However they need to add authorizations. I hate dongles too, but I'd sport it for access to VSTs. Folks already have USB sticks & SD cards hanging off their Lives.

I guess you missed the point of me saying the MPC can be a dongle, put a code in it, when accepting Plugins, that's all. Using a dongle then you have to have a License Manager on your desk top etc, nah, all you have to do is make the MPC the dongle. Akai doesn't have problems with their Air instruments etc. We are not trying to cause a headache on a Standalone.

I missed that you were stating it as fact. Great! One less hurdle.

What trouble are they NOT having with Air instruments. Mine are registered to my iLok account (not dongle).

My bad l was talking about a few programs l have that have no dongle. If the MPC is a dongle then there will be no worries.
