Total noob question

As the subject title implies, I'm as new as can be to the MPC Live so forgive the lame question:

My question is regarding the best way to organize sounds within the MPC Live. I’d like to have all my favorite go-to sounds in a dedicated place so I don’t have to search/navigate through hundreds of sounds every time I create a new drum program. Ideally, I’d like to have some kind of folder or place where I keep all my Kick samples, then another for all my Snare samples, and so-on. How would I go about doing this? FWIW, I operate solely in standalone mode.

Get a usb flash drive or sd card. You can organize it how you see fit and access it from the computer and the live/x. The internal drive can not be accessed with the computer.

As an example.....Create a Samples Folder. Create a new folder within The samples Folder and call it “Drums. Create a new folder inside the drums folder and call it Kicks....etc. etc...

Can this only be done within an external flash or SD card, or can it be done internally?

It can be done internally if you install an internal Hard Drive.
