My MPC Live might shortly earn the new nickname of 'the b*****d'. Song mode, all good, convert to sequence, saved to unused sequence 5, playback...right...where did the additional beats from the 808 on track 3 go? Play back in their original sequences (1 and 2) and they're still there, play back in song mode, still there. Tried clearing sequence five and re-converting to sequence in song mode, save to unused sequence 5, play back, they've disappeared again. Any ideas?

:hmmm: :hmmm: :hmmm: :Sigh:

No worries, solved by actually looking at track 3 on sequence 5 and seeing the drum prog had changed so changed it back to 808. What's strange is that when I unassigned the 808 as a way of cutting it out of sequence 2, although in song mode the change only applied to sequence two, after I converted the whole song to sequence 5, the unassigned 808 now applies to every section in the song...I suppose that does make sense somehow, but I'll be buggered if I can think it through at this late hour. Now I've reactivated the 808 the bits I don't want are back in the song. So the moral of that is,...just delete the beats you don't want in a particular sequence rather than disabling the kit as it won't play back the same post-convert.

nothing better than samples, programs, and sequences scattered in the wind. :WTF:
