Man for the used prices, you’d be way better off getting a used analog heat than a mfc.

I haven’t used a mfc but the analog heat is a bread and butter filter with lots of features.
I have better sounding filters but for what is worth you can get most things done with an analog heat.

@ringmaker how do like the boum? I had a bim and the thing sounded awesome just didn’t like the work flow. How versatile is it?

yeah the bim is fantastic so is the bam. still have to get used to the boum and put it through its paces but i really like it so far. everything that goes through sounds better :mrgreen: the interface is a little confusing at first though but it's not too deep. like the bim, you have to memorize all the parameters, but if you use it for a while you can dial it in blindly.

Your boyz are NUTS the MFC will murder the filters in the live. Just saying.

Where they messed up with the MFC is not being able to recall settings. If it had that it would be perfect.

Electrix Filter Factory Analog was super easy to get. Now people are holding on to them. :lol:

they aren't really the same thing, doesn't the MFC have midi for automating? that is really cool and the type of thing you'd want to likely do over some damn XY sweep on the live.

If l remember you could. Can someone confirm?

Charles there was a work around for that. I forgot. Ain't dealt with that in years

Not sure, personally I prefer direct ins and out, independent controls, for every outboard channel I have.

I really like MPC Live filters, I can say that is the effect I prefer together with distortions and analog delay.
I was a Roland Bitrazer user before, I consider Bitrazer a bit better compared to Live filter but the difference is so subtle I just sold Bitrazer and just use Live own filters.
