Only partially. There is a 'Bounce Bit Depth' option in preferences now, but this only ensures 24 bit for flatten pad and the 'export audio' (drag/drop icon, top right of GUI) option.

Right clicking a track and selecting 'bounce to sample' still gives me 16 bit audio.

Also, chopping is still producing 16 bit. Frustrating that they've only half fixed this issue.

Can I update directly from 2.1 to 2.3?

Auto Sampler? Am I understanding correctly that with a minimal number of button presses, I can create a multi-sampled instrument? I wasn't expecting stand alone plugin support, so this is the next best thing.

I'm also excited about Crossfade Looping and Plugin Presets. I'll have to hear the synths, but that sounds cool too.

Very disappointed they didn't attempt to close the gap between the software and the average DAW. No PDC hurts. I didn't expect them to address all the mixing deficiencies, but I still can't sound design effectively in the software.

Not bad though. I'm not mad at the hype.

Chill dude. Just fooling around. It just had me ****. I saw nail-polished fingers playing the X and thought it was woman...with arm hair...wait..it’s just Pete with some nail-polish.

Is the clip launch mode still busted (unable to change channels without it stopping)? Shame if it is because that mode has so much potential. If you could add midi loops to it and send them to external gear....the mind boggles.

These guys may be lovely chaps but they're not exactly in their comfort zones on video

yes, now bounce bit depth can be set to 16 or 24. it's in the preferences under "record / export".

This is so **** awesome.... this is what i expected the Live to be when i bought it. I can now tell everyone who wants to buy it that its worth the money.

What an incredible update and so many possibilities in the future. Can't wait till third party developers make plugins for it.

are both settings set to 24 bit? recording and bounce?

Too bad they couldn’t implement crossfade loop like JJOS. A visual screen of the loop intersecting with each other was super straight forward.
