Midi keyboard with bluetooth?

Do you know if I can use a midi keyboard connected to MPC Live via Bluetooth instead of standard midi?
I would like to use the smallest keyboard possible with Live but it is hard that very small keyboards have midi connection.
If I could use bluetooth, I would go to Akai LPK25.

Yes works fine, Akai have a video on their youtube channel with a live and the lpk. I believe korg make a better quality bluetooth keyboard which should also work. Not sure what the batterly life is like on these keyboards, I'm happy using usb tbh.

Is the USB on the Live / X powered? Or do you still need a power adapter to for the keyboard?

You can power your keyboard from Live usb but it doesn't send midi information.
This is way I was thinking about bluetooth.

Yes, the port supplies enough power for any keyboard that requires bus power. Arturia minilab 2 working fine, just a single USB to USB connection for power and data.

So you confirm I can send midi from LPK to LIve with bluetooth and power Lpk from Live usb?
If so, I am buying it soon.

I thought Live usb on standalone doesn't recieve midi data.

The standalone live recieves midi data from controllers no problem, be it usb, bluetooth or 5 pin midi cable.

It wont send midi out to 3rd party gear via usb or bluetooth though, you'll have to use standard midi ports for that.

So I can just connect an external keyboard with usb of Live and I can power it and send the notes to Live?
In this case i even don't need bluetooth and any usb keyboard is fine?

Yes, as long as the keyboard is USB 'class compliant', which is basically most keyboards. All the arturia stuff works fine (I've tried keystep, minilab 2, minibrute 2), but I haven't heard of any keyboards that don't work so you should be fine with any modern, bus powered controller.

The LPK wireless was discontinued. It’s avaiable in few places still but mostly sold out.

Ok I confirm using Keystep with usb connection to Live works like a charm, it powers up and send notes without issues.
And so much fun now with new Synths!!!
