MIDI IN ??? WTF??

(Stand-alone mode).....I cannot for the life of me get Midi IN to receive any midi data. Midi works fine with usb controllers through USB port on back and I can get the MPC to Send midi data(via ports) but cannot get MPC Live to receive data through the Midi port INs. I have tested both my Motif XF and mpk25 and neither will be received. They are received fine by other synths and my mpc2500. Live will send data fine to my motif but will not receive. My motif settings are correct and motif sends data fine to all other equipment. I have played with all the settings in the Lives menus to no avail. Is there a bug or something I am unaware of? Any suggestions?

sometime when u have usb and midi in connect, midi in simply doesn't work
try to reboot with no usb in and check, should work
then connect usb, should wotk both (sometimes no)

YOU ARE THE MAN! That was 100% the problem. Funny thing is I had unplugged the usb controller before, but while it was on and didn’t reboot LIVE. Unplugged usb controller, fired up MP, and VOILA! Thanks again brother!
