Hi there
just getting to testing out these 2.3 plugin synths, while they are usable tone generators the gui is wasting huge amounts of screen space, the bassline synth is spread over 4 pages that take up less than half the screen, would make some sense to condense some of these together, while the one with the pictures of tubes on it takes up 8 pages and the general screen response when working with these things is sluggish at best, i would really prefer is akai didnt bundle this junk in the firmware updates and leave these things as a paid extra, i dont like them taking up space on my mpc and they all sound worse than any cheap keyboard i have lying around the place, please dont give us more updates like this, its not what an mpc is for and makes it more of a toy than previous mpcs, i just want a great sampler

Hi,

I was wondering about this myself. But although you have to flip through more pages, it makes a lot of sense to arrange parameters that way. I think that Akai wants to make sure that if you are on a MPC X there should be a maximum of 16 parameters displayed at the same time for you to control them with the 16 Q-Links and not having to think about which controls are mapped to what ....

Best,
Michael

Yeah, I think the pages are set up for X owners. 16 is sort of a magic number in the MIDI world.

You want us to pay extra to keep the plugins out of YOUR way? That is THE most extreme case of Legacysis I've seen. Maybe uninstall the update and go back to 2.2?
