I recently got a 2000xl-mcd. When I hooked an iomega 100mb zip drive to it, I tried to test it by formatting a disk. When I hit "format" I get this message: SCSI conflict on ID#6. No "do it" icon appears above F6 as it should either. I also get this when I simply scroll to another device (ie SCSI-1 to SCSI-2). I have no problem loading sounds from the multi card drive. Am I hooking up the zip drive incorrectly? Is it an internal problem with my MPC? Any help would be greatly appreciated as the manual does not contain anything about this.

I tried setting it to two and didn't have any luck. As soon as I turned the jog wheel I got the same message.
