Help! Akai MPCX stack on firmware update through USB

Hi fam, i was about to do so.. Downloaded the file, added it on a USB flash, hit the update on the X and accidentally press the update without the machine was actually recognizing the usb drive, it reboot and stack on a screen UPDATE MODE. What should i do now? Im afraid of turning it off, if i do so will be any problems?! Thanks in advance

I highly doubt turning it off would pose any problems. My best guess is it'll boot normally after power off.

Did u ever get the USB problem solved? I'm having similar issues getting the MPC X to read the disk image file loaded onto the flash drive. Any help is greatly appreciated!

just do the update tethered to the computer.
