Yo that is ridiculous! Again you're buggin hard! People know me know lm not that.

Things are working out for!

Have a great nite

machinesworking wrote: IMO, in general, you're a bit of a BULLY, or at least you're being one in this thread. Hope that works out well for you.

Right because bullies are smart and really know what they're talking about. :Sigh:

Look I don't know you at all, period. Go back and read your arrogance in this thread towards my posts and try to justify it, go on. It's all bluster, you can't even admit you're initial post was not well thought out, or that you were mistaken, so you just go full drama mode. RAM is not the answer to higher track counts, it's all I was saying, yet you act a fool about it accuse me of pulling track counts out of my ass, and when I post the exact track count from the exact time frame with tests from a reputable source, you question that as well. It's all deflection and to me anyway it's mind boggling, just crazy, because reality is you lose NOTHING by being wrong once, but you look like a heal when you can't EVER be wrong.

I'm here to learn and maybe give back, as I hope you are Right? I hold ZERO grudges online, because life's too short to argue ego with people online, so I'm leaving this in this thread. In the end you learned something so it's a plus for you anyway, at least one of your issues with the MPC Live, track counts, can be solved with a software update not new hardware.

Disk Streaming does allow more tracks, however this Akai Pro Disk Streaming topic has been talked about for over 2 years. Depending on the coding, but I do not think incorporate disk streaming in the MPC LIve/X is a simple task.

I assume they would have to rethink the entire way the MPC manages all the process. Also what will happens when people load legacy projects into the MPC LIVE/X. Also what port will they allocate for disk streaming? Internal Drive, USB, SD Card and then comes the task of testing and recommended reliable storage cards/SSD.

If disk streaming does come, people will be happy until they aren't. However, if I was Akai PRO that would be something for the MKII or I would just say, if you want to load that many tracks/effects. USE OUR SOFTWARE DAW and tether the LIVE/X to a Laptop or Desktop.

As far as @DANOC, He has a strong NEW YORK personality but he's not a BULLY. If he agrees with you, he'll let it be known. If he don't he'll let it be known. But like I said, the Disk Streaming Topic has been talked about for two years. :-D The truth of the matter, these MPC should've came with 4GB to 8GB of RAM. But since they didn't, just tether those sucka to monster desktop and use the software.

To get back on topic: Will the APC LIVE and AKAI FORCE have any connection?

You're doing the most book writing. But lm the bully :WTF:

DISK STREAMING IS NOT THE ANSWER TO EVERYTHING AND ITS NOT ABOUT YOU ITS ABOUT WHAT OTHERS WANT!

Where in the hell did l say ram is for higher track counts? Show me!
I said:
1. Give us more audio tracks 128
2. Give us more than 2gb ram
IN STANDALONE MODE!
Why would l admit to something l didn't do?

"RAM stands for Random Access Memory. ... Programs that are currently running, and open files, are stored in RAM; anything you are using is running in RAM somewhere".

I've learned 20 years ago you don't do minimum requirements you fo the Recommended requirements , meaning Blow your crap out to the max!
Listen l stopped thinking about what you said a day ago and now you bring it back up. You and l don't agtee so l say bye.

Hmmm that's a thought.

If its a hot new synth they better say we new MPC users can use it. Or lma be hot

There’s no point for me to tether the MPC’s to a PC...Bought it for standalone use only..Users that want power they should choose the PC route..
It seems that the potential of these machines made all of us users very feature hungry! That’s the truth! Also there’s no point to speak about more RAM and such..What’s done has been done and the only thing that matters now is what can be done with the available resources and the available resources are screaming for Disk Streaming so that the RAM can be freed up for other purposes (HQ FX/Warping/Synths etc.)

Probably something that does not have PDC for 3rd party plugs on software – or automation lanes on standalone.
I mean, we're only approaching year 2020 now (yikes!), who'd think we'd have that tech yet.
