Ye but we’re not talking bout software here aren’t we?If they really implement these features then there’s nothing like it in the market as we speak...That’s forward thinking mate ;-)

The MPC X and Live is built around the MPC Software. As far as the market you are talking about. This machine barely eclipse the functions of a MPC 4000, put out in 2002. Yet it's still missing things the 4000 can do. The Live is a touch with a hard drive and the MPC X is the Renaissance with a big screen and cv outs.

Like I said it's now technology, not future!

Elektron understands the meaning of a complete system. While I'm not an avid user, I do like how they don't over stuff their gear with features. This way they can hyper focus on each machine.

Will the Akai Force and APC LIVE tie it all together for Akai?

I’m not optimistic Akai has the direction and product focus to do something like that. I don’t think their approach is “here’s a way to expand our product ecosystem”. More like “let’s make this thing because it’s fun...”. I’d love to be wrong though. I still believe Force is a replacement for Advance. Basically an MPC with keys.

So the Force = Advance replacement. Sounds about right.
APC LIVE = Ableton Controller or MPC Software Controller. Will this negate the MPC X?

BOOM :

https://www.sljmusic.com/materiel-deeja ... 23372.html

integrated in the MPC ecosystem (Live, X & software as well)
no tilt screen
better look than leak photos :)
price : 1600 $/€
fx plugins *thx frisbi for noticing that*
new plugin synth : hype
the 6 track types can work as clips

relase date (and probably 2.4 launch for all platforms) : february 15th
splice integration : march
full intregation of ableton live : march (and maybe a deeper integration for Live & X as well?)

such a massive unit, isn't?

just hoping a real and fluid integration between looper mode and clip programs :worthy:

Ah.
So Force and Apc are the same machine?
In the link it talks about a Air fx plugins collection.
That would be a wonderful news if it's also for Mpc.
Quite expensive anyway.
Between Live and X.

Interesting. I'm all for it. Not my type of controller but more goodies for us X and live users.

Yes if they give us Air fx collection, we start working with serious pro effects in standalone.
In the link they also talk about good quality Warp and Timestretch.
Are they also going to improve them?
