Would assume it will read the same drive formats, i.e. exfat, etc. Not sure what the file compatibility is in terms of entire projects, but apparently MPC drum and keygroup programs are definitely loading in it no problem.

This is interesting to me because of what it looks to signify for the MPC line.

Frisbi, I might actually give the AIR FX a chance once they’re integrated. Lol

I love those mixer and audio displays though - if those come in 2.4 it would be cool. (Of course, just basing on how they look. How they perform is a completely different thing).

You're dead on with that. Mixer and Air FX definitely coming. I'm bummed about Clip mode and the APC line, because I'm guessing you're right there as well. I just wish at least one freaking company thought in terms of ecosystem...

Yep, it could well be a decent earner for them if the allowed existing live/X users to access clip mode from an APC, I'd definitely take a punt on one if that were the case..

Yeah one ecosystem would be nice.

I’d still like to see an MPC brain with 49, 61 or 88 keys. Deliver the MPC experience in various form factors - pads or keys. And each can control the other - and the software. You know, like an ecosystem. I’d be all in on the keys version for sure.

But not to be off topic. Not interested in Force, but for some I can imagine it’s pretty cool.

Dan said that there's no room left for sample heavy synths, but in the future they might be able to offer the Force's 'Hype' synth for MPC peeps with a SATA drive installed.

It looks a little frankenstein, like a Push had sex with an MPC Live & this is their love-child...lol!!! I wouldn't buy it though...1) I don't have £1299 to spend, & 2) Just bought a Push 2, I'm covered thanks Akai....However, if this is what 2.4 is shaping up to be & we get all the goodies for Live & X, well that'll be me being one happy bunny!!

Loom on the MPC and I would rarely use the computer.

What I had assumed before looking into the Advance keyboards, similar to Native Instruments. Missed opportunity IMO because I doubt you and I would be the only ones using that combo. I went with a Komplete Kontrol because I use a lot of Native Instrument / NKS VSTs, and there's just enough pre-mapping wiht MPC software to make it a smooth combo.

Not at all interest in the Force either other than how it relates to the Live.
