It's dope if the new effects are good…lessens the need for 3rd party stuff, which causes the need for that three-letter thing I kind of don't even dare mention anymore…

So what you want more?

I am hoping for the mixer from Force. That has all in one view. Like all other mixers

Dan said something about always on scales mode. I need that like fresh air.

If I was akai pro, I would troll everyone and rearrange the GUI. Just so people have to relearn how to use the machine again. I would just sit online and laugh at people.

Side chaining would have a pop up that reads. Sorry, you have to much compression already. How much more, do you want to smash the dynamics.

@ Alexbuga

Are you sure you want the same mixer for pads, channels and more?
Then you would have to scroll and change pages or whatever because there is not enough space on Mpc display.
So I prefer to hold menu, push a pad and enter in which mixer I need.
It's less then half second.

Air effects are dope. A lot of top engineers use them in Protools. That's what l wanna see

Coz wrote:The Live/X definitely need some new effects for standalone.

Can anyone vouch for the quality of the Air effects?

I'm pretty stoked. Once Clips keep running when switching sequences and tracks, that opens up Live a ton for using as a live performance tool to me. Importing Clips I make in Ableton etc. into Stand alone.

I'm willing to make sacrifices to voodoo gods if they allow us access to Scene firing on the MPCs. I'm perfectly fine with limited clip amounts but what with 8 possible banks of 16 clips it would be cool to have the option to fire off clips in a dedicated bank or something like that. Of course the other thing is if it's still just by measure it's possible to hit ten pads at once in a single bank. Or as I've whinged about on the Gearslutz Force thread, AKAI take some time and get the APC line to address clips like the Force does.

I am hoping this is for standalone as well like others have mentioned..... also, it would be nice to have the ability to select the old effects GUI in the settings menu somewhere... I don't need to see the faceplate of a theoretical hardware compressor in the center of the screen when it was fine having all the parameters laid out on the entirety of the screen without the extra crap.

If you follow Akai on either Instagram or Twitter, you’ve already seen this.

They said in 2.4 besides effects there are other improvements to clips and stuff.

I was just wondering if anyone knows what those are. It's a legit question

It probably won’t be much more besides the things we already know..

But of coarse I’m glad because they seem to be commited..

I'm not familiar with the Air suite but I'm curious If there's an amp/can simulator in there. For recording guitars directly. That'd be awesome.

I'm looking forward to the UI changes for these FX. It freshens up the MPC a bit.
