To compare the price of the MPC Live VS X fairly, you have to add in a dedicated 16 knob controller with OLED display, a dedicated function section for a specific device, and the price of a larger screen. That's going to easily run you over $1000 separately.

No idea, it could go up or down. As far as deep dub, it's really not that hard to create. This machine should be able to do it with no issues.

I will say AKAI has much better fat pads to boot. The Force again ties me to one DAW. I do not like that. The only plus I find to Maschine for me is tagging. I know to others that is a downfall. Plus honestly 200ish soundsets is all that is needed in a standalone drum machine. I still prefer the 4000,5000 and Roland R8 MKII. As with all my old gear I feel is indispensable. Like EMU Morpheous nothing like it and ASR10, legendary to this day.

What bums me is I will have GAS when the next MPC comes out obviously. I do play everyday though, not collect gear. I mainly play keys and I like the Advance plus my many other boards. If the road 88 had a display I would be all in that.

I am sorry I drove you folks nuts about it just to do a 360. I apologize to Y'all but perhaps my win. Plus it is just more money towards the next one. Doubt it is ever less than $1,300 used. I shall go make music now!

Luckily I have no questions on it's functionality as of yet. If I do, I know where to come! I am not going to post about trading it again, okay?

Edit: Guy's I would like to ask a quick OT question. I do not need an elongated answer. It once again goes towards value. Everyone seems to prefer Omnisphere which I have already. Omnisphere is $499. Komplete collectors edition is $2,000. Is Omnisphere still your choice of the Two? I ask because It is all I use to create sound. Be it MPC or keys. I have older VST's too but this is my main soundbank. I just wonder if I would do myself justice to get Komplete? Or NI just sucks? It is the quality not quantity that counts to me. As I quickly realized Maschine is not up to X after having played it. I wonder about NI's software though? Thank you
