Uhh... presets don't work at all

Has anyone but me noticed that saving your own presets, and trying to load them is a nightmare and doesn't really work? There is no clear way to do this without it being a strain.

I feel like its great to have presets, but what is the point if there is no organization, and you cant load your own?

I save presets of synths and effects and they just work fine.
What exact problems you have?

I use a lot of Native Instruments VSTs and currently save presets within Komplete Kontrol? However, these presets are not slectable/scrollable on the main page of the Live. Can 3rd party VST presets be saved in a way that makes them selectable on that main page?

No, 3rd Party VST presets won't show on that main page unless the 3rd Party VST exports them in a common way (see like Massive/Absynth Program Lists).

I was hoping VIP integration would come which would help here, but not yet.

I've said in a few threads that Akai is missing out. Though Akai doesn't have it's own VIs like Native Instruments, better integration of the MPCs, MIDI Keyboards and software would be embraced by users. I'd jump fully into that Akai ecosystem if it were on par with Maschine & Komplete Kontrol hard/software compatibility.

They could start with Air instruments as they already have a relationship, and create an NKS format equivelent that would be fully compatible with MPC software and/or VIP (I'd like to see VIP replace MPC's sub par browsing). Missed opportunity IMO as it would be a great alternative to the NI ecosystem. As is, I paired a Komplete Kontrol controller with my Live since I use a lot of NI/NKS VSTs.
