Unfortunately I signed up to be a music producer not a sound designer
It's good to be honest, there's lot of people whose Ego is too big, to admit that simple thing. I know plenty of music composer, who don't want to mix or spend creative time sound sculpting. It does not mean, that they do care about how the music sounds, they just rather not spend hours doing that.
It comes down to, if you're mixing, who's making the music. If you're making the music, who mastering. All you need is a team of people, who really enjoy mixing and enjoy mastering. Find that and you'll have your weight in gold. Compared to now a days, it seems like, everyone want to take credit and do everything.
This is one reason, we started the Sound Exchange on here. PM me QuickStrike and I'll invite you. I dig your sounds.
