Can anyone confirm that the Air effect plugins are latency free?

A good variety too.
Good look for sure and an improvement on the MPC.

same here ~ no UI on desktop Just the Text/ Bar graphics.

What's the consensus with 2.4 on MPC Live? Is it safe and recommended to update software and standalone? I'm holding off until the more adventurous MPC heads give it the thumbs up.

This doesn't make sense. Hard to say if this was just an oversight from Akai or what.

Yeah, thanks, I know he said that. Still, baffling why they left it like that…makes me think it's some sort of oversight or a rushed release.

The Air FXs are great, especially the reverb is soooo much better than the AKAI reverbs.

A nice GUI is nice to have but not essential. I´m happy with the update.

well, isn't that the case with every mpc update?
remember how they iplemented the arpeggiator and x-fade looping.

i would rather wait a few more months and have some solid UI instead of big features every update...
