Because there is no option for pre or post bus sending...

If you set up a common sidechain situation, such as a kick sending on bus 1 to a synth receiving the signal...

once you set up the SC and go to export/explode the tracks, it's essentially solo'ing each track and exporting it. So the kick track that would side chain to the synth track, triggering the compressor, is muted, leaving the synth track exported without the SC effect.

Would resampling it be a work around for now?

Have you tried that.

Same result.

I've found a workaround in simply routing out of 3-4 on my prism titan and just recording it back in as an audio track. I suppose one could also open this session in the AAX MPC plugin and route it to it's own track and record.

But the best remedy is adding a pre-post option in the Mother Ducker Input. It also allows for other kinds of fun when creating.

You could just render the kick and synth track as two track, then import it. Have you tried that?

then import them as audio tracks? Not sure how that would change the result. Rendering them, the synth would be without the effects of the SC. Bringing them back in as audio tracks would still require SC to get the effect, and then exporting it from there would still yield a non-effected synth.

So you can't render a two track song with the SC applied? It should be no different than rendering a track with reverb or delay. If not, that's a very big oversight.

IF YOU ARE A MAC USER TRY THIS..
https://support.shinywhitebox.com/hc/en ... io-Capture

THIS ALLOWS YOU TO RECORD WHAT EVER YOUR MPC X/LIVE OUPUTS BACK INTO ITSELF LIKE MANUALLY RE-SAMPLING, BUT YOU CHOOSE THE AUDIO TRACK ON YOUR X/LIVE THAT YOU RECORD TO. IT CAN BE PRETTY HELPFUL WHEN YOU WANT TO MIX/CREATE SUBGROUP MIX STEMS.

SORRY IM NOT YELLING JUST TOO LAZY TO TURN OFF THE CAPS AFTER I HAD ALREADY STARTED TYPING...
