Southern HH rolls

can anyone suggest any tips for doin them rollin southern HH patterns ?

i started with 16 (3) then added more in between after at 32 (3) but i couldnt get it sounding right at all..

just practice ?

You can also try recording a double time
ex. 75 BPM 4 bars = 150 BPM 8 bars this is a technique commonly used.

I do that alot.. Not only with hhats.

I always hear 808 HH's all over southern beats.

Remember, the 808 can do more than 16th notes!!

slow down the tempo when you're recording it & bring it back up to speed when you're finished.
