Can you do this with the MPC Live?

Hi, Im an experienced Push 2 user looking to switch to MPC because of portability issues. Just need to make sure my workflow is possible in any way. Can't seem to find it in the manual

Is it possible to, while a drum track is playing, record an audio loop to another track with a fixed length (let's say 2 bars), and after recording is done, chop it with a minimum amount of steps and have it available on the pads on a new track?
