Hello,

I can’t find info on this through a search here or on google. Any help is appreciated!

When I connect the outs of my mixer in the 3/4 inputs of my mpc x
I can sample in stereo with input set to 3/4. If I try to sample mono, input 3 works fine but input 4 receives no input.

Any idea why input 4 would work in stereo but not mono?

Thanks,
Jason

If you are sampling mono off of 3 why would you expect to hear audio from 4?

You can also select input 4 as mono, do you hear audio from 4 through the sampler then?

Thanks for replying. I’ll try to explain again. 3/4 works to record a stereo sample. When switching to mono and setting to input 3 I can record a mono sample. When switched to input 4 I cannot record a mono sample. Input 4 works when sampling stereo but not mono.

i experience this too - since 2.4
sampling off input 4 works pretty good, but i don't see the input meter working
so that's why i thought it not working
BUG all over it

You’re not alone... if inputs 3 and 4 show a stereo audio signal, one can assume that input 3 is the left side and 4 the right side.. the left side of the signal shows up if you just want that inputs signal, but if you only want the right side(input 4) it doesn’t show. I’ve asked this question too but never received an answer or reply about it. Guess others don’t think it’s an issue?

I wrote about this issue in their suggestion box early during 2.0, but still no fix. I have a Zoom L12 and it shows levels for the odd mono tracks, but not the even ones. It does record the channel and you can see the levels in the software, but not the hardware.
