MPC software not seeing Live, even though it's connected

I seem to be having a lot problems when I connect to the MPC software (2.4). The MPC shows it's connected and is in controller mode, but when I go and select the MPC driver in the options in MPC software, it often (most times) says it doesn't see the device, even though I am definitely connected, I can even select ASIO4ALL and I'll hear sounds coming out of the PC. I just basically have to try restarting the software and reconnecting the LIVE, and in maybe 1 out of 10 times, it will then see the driver. Works fine when it's connected, but it's a real hassle to get the driver to work. Anyone else having this problem?

Did you reinstall the live driver?

Reinstall 2.4 on the computer? No.
