I'm having difficulty using the qlinks on the mpc in a live performance setting.
I use the custom edited pad and program qlink screens and accidentally touch the qlinks during performance and the qlink screen switches to "screen mode" and it adjust the parameters of the things that are NOT custom set by myself.

The work around would be to send the custom qlinks to an external knob controller.

I use the "momentary" feature on a lot of qlinks and cant find specs of any knob controller that has "touch sensitivity" encoders just like the MPC live.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I was looking at the mpd218 or the midifighter twister

Did a bit of research, it seems you cannot assign qlink custom presets to external knobs ( unless I'm mistaken)

I can do my external controller in "midi control " menu but it looks like there no option for "momentary knob"
Only option is momentary button

For external I use Midi designer pro on ipad.
I can creat my own midi controller from scratch or use templates the community has built.

It’s NOT for the lazy so let’s get that out the way.

You want a custom midi controller on ipad that YOU CREATE, DESIGN, CONTROL EVERYTHING IT DOES then this is for THAT guy.

I use for controlling various things on 2kxl, 4k, triton extreme and turbo phatt but have never tried qlinks on 4k.

I have nothing but praise for midi designer pro.
