I have 1.2 in mine after running 1.14c for a couple of years. Nothing different that can be seen.
I have an ATAPI (IDE is different and I think will not work) reader, but I doubt I will test it since the $5 SCSI card reader that I already in there works just fine. We all know it already works anyay since it is being shipping from the factory that way.
I will be checking it against 1.14c later this weekend (in a secret kind of way).

Maybe thats cos your still running OS 1.14c....After a long debate about it being a fake, I loaded it up for arguments sake to put it through its paces...In my own secret little way. Ha! It turns out that all thats been changed, is the code that displays the version when u check it the normal way. (Shift 8 etc)
When I did the shift trick and checked the ver from there, it came up with the Last build Info for OS 1.14c. Hmmm, Oh well. Looks like a money earning scam - quite clever tho
I'll see what u (3k) come up with

1.2 was certainly based on 1.14c and one of the markers for the OS version was still left at 1.14c, as you already point out. I just checked and more than just the version number was changed. Whether any of it was significant still remains to be determined. My suspicion is that it was insignificant.
