MPX vs Maschine Studio vs Studio One 4

I'm sorry guys but I can't stand when a company has proprietary software or hardware that's what got Avid in trouble with Pro Tools back in the day, now I'm dealing with the same type of situation with my brand new Akai Mpc X, I thought the software could be used in multiple instances as a plugin like maschine it can't, I thought I could separate or expand the outputs in Studio One like maschine I can't I have to pull up two different mixers to use the thing, that slows down my work flo tremendously, It's like I am being forced to switch DAW's and I'm not going to do that so I've had this thing about 4 daze probably will be sending it back...On the plus side it is well built and looks amazing......what do you guy's think

I agree with the Avid thingy you said. I would never buy Protools un my setup again!

You said you thought? How is itbthat you thought? You're telling us all you didn't do any research on the Akai product? You bought it blindly?

Being YOU THOUGHT AND BOUGHT the product no one is forcing you to do anything. For real. I thought You had a good case.

Dude read my post correctly first of all ...I'm not on here to argue with anyone about what I buy...I did tons of research on this product....you can not get every tiny bit of info on a machine with all these parameters......if I have to break it down for you here goes...most plugins with multi outputs give you the option to use said outputs in your daw be it pro tools, logic,studio one even frickin fruity loops......the only way akai is allowing you to use the outputs is either through cv outs...or in their daw forcing you to use their daw to mix in it or to export the file then dump them into your daw....that is increasing my work-flo

How the hell you did research and you don't know what you have? And tons at that! Smh
Why do you keep using the word "forcing"? No one is forcing you. You made a choice , whether its bad or good.

Danoc... i wouldn't waste time with this kid.. my 14 years old.. he has 7 post time for a ban..

i rout 32 outs direct to my daw (reaper or whatever) while in controller mode run both software and daw, you dont need to use the plug in at all

What’s funny is akai’s mpc essentials software (a lite version of the software you are using) was allowed to have multiple plug instances. You could even switch plugin instances from the controller like Maschine.

It doesn’t seem like that feature is ever coming to the main software as this was around the time of the MPC element release.

Now that's dope man. Seems everyone has their own way of getting out there stuff which is really dope.

I've mostly been running it as hardware, synced via beat clock to DP10, Live, Reaper whatever. Program change messages to change patterns etc. I like the fact is uses no CPU whatsoever in your DAW this way, forces me to work with it like what it is, hardware.

VS Studio One, is probably one of the dumbest comparisons I've seen in years. Your ever expanding computer with endless RAM and CPU capabilities, upgradable everything VS essentially an iPad.

Have you tried rearoute with other DAW's such as cubase?
