Hey there everyone
I picked up an MPC2K (NOT XL) about a month ago and I'm completely going nuts over how much fun this damn thing is. This site has been an invaluable resource for help but there are still a few questions that I can't seem to find answers to. If any of you have the time to help me out, I'll repay you with loads of good karma...
1. When I sample bass drums I get an annoying click when playing them with the pads. I haven't noticed that click with other instruments.
2. Last weekend I sampled 32 drums sounds and assigned them to the C and D banks. After saving them to disk I then went in and edited the sounds quite a bit. For some reason when I try to save these over my old sounds it doesn't keep these new changes (ie. when I load them afterwards from the zip all I get are the old sounds).
3. And last but not least, every now and then my MPC freaks out and displays a group of #'s on the lcd screen. I take it that it's because I'm using the cheapest memory money can buy. Yes?
Thanks for any replies - I'll post some of my stuff when it's ready.
