Never personally owned it. I have Keyscape from Spectrasonic. All hope for the project is not over, The 4000 footprint is almost the same, I just have to install Windows XP 64 Bit.

I got my PC running 2 50inch 4K TV with i believe a raedon 580 @4K resolution.. one for Cubase other for MPC 2.5 or Reason 10.2..

How close are sitting to those? The Type face in Cubase or Reason must be really small on a 2 x 50 inch 4K monitors.

About 3to 4 feet i guess they are mounted on the wall mixing level high and test set to 150% ..looks good

Yo Cer, l didn't know you were rocking Reason. How is R10.2? Im still on R10.1.

That's like 6 feet across If I did that I would have to seat 8 feet away, to maintain an equilateral triangle with my audio monitors. My eye level seating positions is 4 feet, I would have to mount those TV'S 2 feet off the floor to avoid back/neck issues. What do you do, to deal with the noise of the GPU, those 580 are 36 dB in quiet mode.

You needs something like this from Steven Slate. The Audio Monitor are still to high for my liking in the second picture. I don't like my audio monitor to sit on the desk, due to reflection and vibrations they cause.

Omnisphere can change to different sizes. It would be ok for a 50 incher. It will look huge as fugg lol

In that triangle the ears should be line level with the monitors, the monitors also should be facing inwards. To get it perfect when you're sitting you look directly at the wolfer and you shouldn't be able to see both sides of the monitors. Once you have all these points you should be in a sweet spot. And the room tuned.

@Charles you should have seen the mod I did to my Open Labs Neko XXL. I went nuts. Bought it for less than $500 from a guy that didn’t want it anymore because the pc parts inside we’re old . Upgraded everything, change some of panels and added my own stuff with stuff I had around. Maschine, faderport, 2 21 inch monitors attached to the back. By the time I was done someone came in to my studio saw it and bought it. I made twice what I put in it easy. I still got an Open labs Dbeat I have plans for

This is always a great reference document. It just seems like the dual 50 inch monitors is to wide and high.

Also looking at Omnisphere 2.6 hardware integrations, they put lots of work. Still now word about creating and important other devices. Have you tried to do it with the live yet?

What OS in the openlab did you install?

Yeah l wrote about it. I said l didn't get it to work, probably my fault at hand.
But my LPD8 is working fine with it. I can midi learn with the 8 knobs on the LPD8 and do sick automation. I prefer the LPD8 over the live cause l have more knobs to work with. I think the X would be better cause it has more knobs.

Does OMNISPHERE 2.6 allow for you to save and export the settings of the LPD8?

Some bug fixes i believe a few plugins also.. 10.3 is in beta right now.. o dont use it that often...

Also to clear up 43 for mixing and 50 i use for plugins and mpc software and reason... i customize the settings also the card run loud for my taste but my PC is not under my console for that reason.. to each as own works well for me i think a lot of people are confusing 4K for 1080P which gives u that wtf look lol.. i order the 50inch and forgot i had a 43inch in place it works detailed
