I'm a programmer by trade. You would think that I'd get enough of it at work, but it's also one of several hobbies. At home is where I write the fun stuff

Are you dropping the file onto the pad select button? Those are the only areas that will accept sample files.

ok wax ol boy i figured out a lil sumpin... you can drop and drag from the file window so long as its not the one that launches from the actuall editor.. when i try and do it from the "select file" doo dad in the editor ,and it goes to where my samps are stored . thats where i cant drag it from. but yes if i do open the folder outside of the editor it works.

i guess its a lil counter intuitive.. or meybe im a moron?! haha

really nice work man, but while we are bugreporting
tune doesnt work really friendly if not allready noticed

and suggestion with assign settins to pads:
i think it's more logic when the checkboxes are organised as folows

a13,a14,a15,a16
a09,a10,a11,a12
a05,a06,a07,a08
a01,a02,a03,a04

b13 ....like the pads on your mpc

and it would be nice when you rightclick on a setting title like amp envelope the assign function copies all the settings in that box to the selected pads

and make pads chromatic doesn't work if you ask me
