converting a song back to a sequence

The problem that i'm having is when i'm trying to convert a song back into a sequence.

I have about 24 sequences that i made from a master one and there are tracks muted in each sequence to build the song, after i created the song with all the sequenced parts and tried to convert it into one sequence it only plays the very first sequence for like 200 bars.

Am I missing something really simple?

You should be able to re-save with the master sequence once you load the song.

Are you doing the thing where you convert a song into a single, really long sequence? I've found the same thing.... that the long sequence doesn't recognise track mutings in different short sequences. You need to go through all those short sequences & actually erase the muted tracks.

However, I also cannot remember now why I thought I needed a single sequence that was 5 minutes long......

when converting theres a track status, it will say three diferent things if you hilite it and turn the data wheel, goto the last one or the second one cant remeber right now but it those you need to change because if you dont then it will keep all sequences the same

yeah like the guy mentioned previously, I encountered the same problem when I converted my sequences to song mode it didn't recognize the tracks that were selected 'off'. So delete these 'off' tracks from each sequence and then convert from song mode again and it should work

in your song mode screen use the toggle and go to the last selection...if i'm not mistakin' it should say "convert sequence to midi" or somethin like that and then after you do that it should automatically go to your main screen...it sholf recognize all of youe sequences
