1. Uninstall the software and firmware if you messed up installing both.

2. First install the SOFTWARE!

3. When doing this a screen will pop up and will be the "MPC installer" page. On this page it will tell you to "SELECT YOUR MPC"
In the pic below you need to select "The Live" icon only! (Look at the pic and where the arrow is pointing).

4. Once you click that another page will pop up called "MPC INSTALLER - MPC SOFTWARE "

5. Click the "UPDATE MPC SOFTWARE" tab that's in a boxed border.

6. Click ok, continue the process is complete. Once done proceed to update the firmware of the MPC live.

If you go MAC, you have to keep that hardware up to date. Macs are like BMW's, AUDI's, and BENZ, after 4 years trade up or get left behind. :smoker:

That is the main reason I left Mac's alone as my music computer. I optimize and customize my PC for music and You can keep it a log time than being caught in an Apple Whirl Wind of buying a new computer. :WTF: And they are to expensive. I can get the same performance from a Powerful PC as I do a Mac. Plus there are things that won't work in a Mac. :-D :smoker: From what I know a lot of Mac users have problems with installments.
