To all MPC HEADS (MUSIC PRODUCTION COMMUNITY)

On this forum, we all have opinions and sometimes conveying our message can get lost in translation. Many of us, live in different parts on the world, and I feel we take that for granted. Exchanging information and culture should be our main activity. I understand that when it comes to our careers, we all are in different places, and have different goals.

But I wanted to say, that. I appreciated everyone who engages and share their opinion. (Even if we don't agree.) Life is to short and fragile to beef, hold tiny grudges, over even smaller disputes. My goal for joining the community was not to tear down, but to learn, inspire, and build up.

So while were all alive to read this. I hold nothing against anyone, in the community and I hope you feel the same. Don't allow our past spats, stop us from helping and teaching each other. I want to extend a hand of well wishes, compassion, community, and good health to you all. Keep pushing toward your dreams, keep creating music, and keep tapping those 16 PADS.

good points, great post. Yea theres just too many threads that devolve into tit-for-tat snipes at eachother. (Theres also too many threads that veer off topic for several pages in a row. Wheres the mods at?)

I admit I've been apart of the veering, but making an effort to curve that. Mods are at their 9 to 5, but they cut it off when we don't correct it ourselves.

Music Production Community, that's clever! I'm new here, and yeah, I saw some of the madness, but it didn't put me off too much since I'm still here. I've seen much worse on other music communities that will not be named by me

Well alot of us can hang out at Gearslutz. Muffwiggler and worse, the actual Akai "forum". This place is like rainbows and unicorns hah. Only, it wont even let me say C R A P here haha.

good post - I think some serious banter on a forum shows passion and activity and a forum without it is pretty much dead
