Hi guys just got a brand new iMac 2019 and I can’t sample anything in controller mode I’ve noticed this problem since update 2.5 and recently downloaded version 2.6 and it’s still not working is everyone else having this same problem? If I go to standalone sampling works fine ! Shouldn’t this problem be solved immediately what’s the holdup for a patch?

This was just fixed in 2.6 if im correct. I had same problem pre 2.6 mac should ask to give mpc software microphone access. You must say yes in order for the inputs to work in controller mode.

Sorry for such a delayed response I am just trying to sample from my turntable! In controller mode I get no signal but I hear the record coming through my speakers when I switch off to standalone signal is there and I have no problem sampling .

I had the same problem. Called customer support no help. Went through hours of trial an error and reading forums and this is what worked for me. Make sure all of the Mac privacy settings allow Mac access to the microphone. System preference>security & privacy> Microphone ( on the left menu)> and the make sure Mac is checked.
After this is set go to you Mpc and click on preferences. In the preference box check input mpc live audio but the OUTPUT should be checked to your audio interface you using. Hope this works for you it did for me... let me know
